The Groen BPP-40EC Eclipse tilt skillet has a large, 40-gallon capacity for high-volume operations. Coved corners in the 10-inch-deep pan eliminate debris-trapping crevices, and graduated markings in the pan enable operators to precisely measure ingredients for recipes. Its stainless steel-clad cooking plate is 5⁄8 inch thick, so it resists warping as it repeatedly heats up and cools down.

This braising pan tilts so users can move the product into a different container, and because the tilting mechanism is powered with a motor, it is smooth and precise. Manual units that use a hand wheel to tilt the unit can be jerky, so this eliminates sloshing and product loss that comes with those machines. To suit different applications, the power tilt switch on the control panel has three positions. Ideal for griddling and enabling grease to run to the front, this pan can be placed at a 7-degree angle. If there is a power issue, the unit can be tilted with a manual override option.

Electronic controls, including an on/off switch, for this Groen BPP-40EC tiling braising pan are enclosed in a water-resistant housing. When the power is on, an indicator light illuminates while the panel also has a heat-on indicator light and adjustable temperature knob. Heating elements are thermostatically controlled, turning on when the temperature needs to be reached and shutting off when the set temperature is correct. A faucet bracket that can be placed on the left or right side of the pan is included with the unit, coming in handy if the operator wants to have a constant water supply for food production and cleaning. Operators can install a single pantry faucet for hot or cold water or a double pantry faucet for both hot and cold water.
