Groen BPM-40EC Description
The Groen BPM-40EC electric braising pan is equipped with a crank and worm-gear-tilt mechanism for manually tilting the pan. It takes 24 cranks to tilt the body vertically for pouring, though the unit can tilt even farther for cleaning. Providing heat across it, the cooking surface has a flat bar heating element and a 5⁄8-inch-thick, stainless steel plate. For measuring, the body is also made of stainless steel and etched with graduated marks.
The Groen BPM-40EC manually tilting braising pan features front-mounted, enclosed controls on the right that keep out water while a temperature control knob enables users to set the temperature between 175 and 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Preventing temperatures from reaching unsafe level, the high-limit thermostat acts as a safety feature, and the mounting bracket enables faucet installation on the left side, right side, or on the rear.
