"A good well constructed non stick pan that should work fine for cooking egg dishes. But I got confused after talking with customer service and mainly because of Browne- Helco's use of the term "thermalloy" for both products into thinking this pan was simply a slightly smaller version of Browne-Halco 5724096, a tri-ply pan with an aluminum layer in between stainless steel. It's not, it's just stainless steel. I may not notice the difference, but I really wanted a tri-ply, but not worth the trouble and expense of sending back for exchange. "Conventional wisdom" is that the tri-ply performs better as far as even heating. Also, I would have preferred a smaller pan, at 7"; this is really a 8" pan. As suggested above, customer service thought the same as I, that same pan, just smaller. I'm also not sure it's clear from description, but this is a pan that can be used on induction cooktop. The "no" recommedation should be qualified because it is not a reflection of bad quality, but simply because I would recommend spending more for the tri-ply. Seeing how the Browne-Helco pans are constructed, that pan, Browne-Halco 5724096, I would recommend enthusiastically."
