For additional organized storage space, the Cambro EXA185464V5480 Camshelving® Elements® XTRA add-on vented shelving unit adds five stationary vented shelves to Elements XTRA series starter units. Designed for durability in busy kitchen environments, this unit’s five removable, 52-inch-long by 18-inch-wide, smooth polypropylene shelf plates are treated with Camguard® antimicrobial protection to inhibit the growth of bacteria, mold and fungus. The unit’s posts and traverses are made of a strong composite material that can be wiped clean, while its shelves are easily removed and dishwasher safe. This add-on shelving unit is suitable for medium to heavy storage needs with a weight capacity of 800 pounds per shelf with an overall weight capacity of 2,400 pounds. It's corrosion and rust resistant and tolerates food acids, moisture, chemicals and humidity common in kitchen environments between -36 degrees and 190 degrees Fahrenheit, making it ideal for use in walk-in coolers, freezers and hot kitchen spaces.
With an adjustable, reinforced, threaded nylon foot, the Cambro EXA185464V5480 Camshelving Elements XTRA add-on vented shelving unit offers increased stability in areas with uneven flooring and features a smooth outer post surface because of its inside post notch design. This unit offers maximized usable storage with no loss of weight bearing in the corners and can bear more weight on middle shelves installed between units due to its two-piece, heavy-duty corner connectors featuring a front and back clasp design. The snap-on, single piece shelf means fewer parts and a simplified assembly process. While its universal shelves fit both stationary and mobile units to add flexibility to storage configuration needs, the Elements XTRA series add-on vented shelving unit’s not compatible with the original Elements series products. This speckled gray shelving unit measures 52 inches long by 18 inches wide by 64 inches high and includes one factory-assembled stationary post kit, stationary traverses, stationary traverse dovetails and shelf plates.
