Cambro EXA183064V5480 Description
From the Camshelving® Elements XTRA series, the Cambro EXA183064V5480 add-on unit’s five vented shelves are molded with antimicrobial Camguard® to slow the growth of mildew, mold, and bacteria. This design also enables air to circulate around stored containers, which promotes safe storage. The shelf plates detach for simple cleaning by hand or in commercial dishwashers. While this unit is strong because of its polypropylene construction—a material that resists rust and corrosion—staff should avoid using harsh cleaners on or around the unit to minimize structural damage.
The Cambro EXA183064V5480 stationary shelving requires assembly; however, it can be assembled without tools to facilitate setup. Two builders are recommended with an optional addition of a mallet to expedite the process. Each shelf can hold 800 pounds, though line cooks should refrain from exceeding the unit’s maximum capacity of 2,000 pounds. This set of shelves sports a speckled gray appearance that meshes well with most back-of-house settings, and it can only be paired with shelving and parts from the Camshelving Elements XTRA series.
