The Cambro CPA244284V4PKG Camshelving® Premium add-on shelving unit includes eight traverses, molded-in dovetails, and an unassembled post kit so operators can attach it to a Premium starter shelving unit in a straight line or in L, T, and U shapes, depending on storage space. Once it's assembled, this four-level unit measures 42 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 84 inches high. It withstands temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit for use in coolers, freezers, pantries, and dishrooms. To preserve a uniform appearance, it's speckled gray—a color that complements the Premium starter unit.
To avoid structural damage, no more than 2,000 pounds should be stored on the Cambro CPA244284V4PKG add-on shelving unit, though each shelf can hold 800 pounds. Each shelf features flat, gapped surfaces that let air circulate across the shelves and around stored foods, eliminating damaging moisture and dust buildup. To shield items from contamination, the shelves' polypropylene constructions resist corrosion and are treated with an antimicrobial agent that slows bacterial growth between cleanings. These shelves can be removed and adjusted as inventory changes and are safe to wipe clean and sanitize in a dishmachine when necessary.
