The Cambro CPA187284V4PKG Camshelving® Premium add-on shelving unit can be fastened to a Premium starter shelving unit to increase storage space in crowded dishrooms, pantries, and walk-in coolers or freezers. To fit allotted space, the add-on unit can be attached to the starter unit in T-, U-, and L-shaped configurations. This 72-inch-wide by 18-inch-deep by 84-inch-high structure includes eight traverses, molded-in dovetails, and an unassembled post kit, which features two steel posts with polypropylene exteriors for stability. So the starter shelving system doesn't have to be moved from its original location, the add-on unit is safe to store in temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit.
The Cambro CPA187284V4PKG add-on shelving unit's four vented shelf plates are lined with gaps that encourage uniform air circulation, creating an ideal storage space for perishable goods while reducing moisture and dust buildup. As much as 800 pounds can be stored on each 72-inch-wide by 18-inch-deep shelf, though the unit is designed to store 2,000 pounds. To preserve the shelves' speckled gray color and protect contents from harmful contaminants, the shelves have a corrosion-resistant polypropylene construction and are treated with an antimicrobial protection agent that hinders bacterial spread.
