Ideal for linens, small objects, and irregularly shaped goods, the Cambro CBA246072S4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus add-on shelving unit has four tiers of solid polypropylene shelf plates. Operators can adjust the shelves on the posts to accommodate various product heights. The top shelf can support 400 pounds, while each lower shelf has a 600-pound capacity. To prevent structural damage, this unit shouldn't be loaded with more than 1,800 pounds. The flat surfaces are simple to wipe clean, and for convenient sanitization, the shelves can be removed for dishmachine washing.

Intended to be affixed to a Basics Plus starter shelving unit, the Cambro CBA246072S4580 add-on shelving unit can extend the original unit or be configured in L, T, or U shapes to fit storage areas with limited space. To hasten installation, this kit includes eight traverses, four bags of eight dovetails, and preassembled post connectors and wedges.

The add-on unit's polypropylene construction resists rusting and corroding and can be used in temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, enabling it to be stored in humid dishrooms, dry storage pantries, and walk-in freezers and coolers. Because the polypropylene is made with antimicrobial protection, it inhibits mold and bacterial growth. To prevent rocking and wobbling, which could impact product safety, the unit's composite posts are capped with leveling feet for stabilization.
