This Cambro CBA246064V4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus add-on shelving unit measures 60 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 64 inches high and can be attached to a Basics Plus starter shelving unit in L-, T-, or U-shaped configurations to maximize storage space. Constructed of scratch- and peel-resistant polypropylene, this unit is impervious to moisture, chemicals, salt, food acids, and humidity, resists rusting and corroding, and can be stored in temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit. This design ensures safe use in walk-in coolers and freezers, dishrooms, and dry storage pantries. For uniformity with the original starter unit, the add-on unit features a brushed graphite look.
Each of the Cambro CBA246064V4580 add-on shelving unit's shelves are vented, so air can move through their slotted surfaces and around product to reduce moisture and dust buildup. To provide a sanitary storage surface, the shelves can be wiped clean or washed in a dishmachine. Though the top shelf can hold 400 pounds and each bottom shelf has a 600-pound capacity, the unit shouldn't be loaded with more than 1,800 pounds to prevent structural damage. So long as the dovetails are spaced 4 inches apart, operators can position the shelves to accommodate various products.
