While the Cambro CBA243072V4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus add-on shelving unit's top shelf plate accommodates 400 pounds, each of its three lower shelves can support 600 pounds. To prevent unit damage, it shouldn't be stocked with more than 1,800 pounds. Each shelf is vented, which can help reduce moisture and dust accumulation as air can flow through the gapped surfaces and surround stored goods. The shelves can be wiped down when necessary and are removable for cleaning in a dishwasher.
For adaptability, the Cambro CBA243072V4580 add-on shelving unit can be configured to a Basics Plus starter shelving unit in T, U, or L shapes to fit small or cramped storage spaces. The necessary hardware is included with this kit to facilitate installation. To ensure the add-on unit can be affixed to an existing starter unit, its polypropylene construction endures temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit and resists rust and corrosion in humid environments, meaning it can be stored in steamy dishrooms, dry storage pantries, coolers, and freezers.
