This Cambro CBA213072V4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus add-on shelving unit has a 1,800-pound capacity. The top shelf supports 400 pounds, while each of the lower shelves holds 600 pounds, so they're suitable for accommodating small pieces of equipment and boxed or bagged items. It's safe to store in coolers, freezers, and pantries because its polypropylene construction withstands temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit. Meant to be attached to a Basics Plus shelving unit, it includes dovetails, traverses, and preassembled post connectors and wedges, so operators have the necessary hardware to assemble and install the add-on shelving unit.
To match the original shelving unit, the Cambro CBA213072V4580 add-on shelving unit features a brushed graphite appearance. Due to its polypropylene construction, it resists peeling, scratching, rusting, and corroding, which can help preserve this sleek look over time. All the shelves are louvered, and air can flow through their slots to eliminate moisture and dust buildup, maintaining clean surfaces. The shelves also are treated with Camguard®—antimicrobial protection agent that inhibits microbial growth between cleanings. For convenient shelf sanitizing, they can be removed and washed in a commercial dishmachine.
