Lined with five tiers of vented polypropylene shelf plates, the Cambro CBA243064V5580 Camshelving® Basics Plus add-on shelving unit has a 1,800-pound capacity, though the top shelf can support 400 pounds and each of the lower shelves accommodates 600 pounds. The shelves' louvered structures prompt airflow through the slotted surfaces to eliminate moisture and dust buildup. As the shelves become dirty, they can be wiped down or cleaned in a dishwasher for thorough, convenient sanitization.
The Cambro CBA243064V5580 add-on shelving unit includes preassembled post connectors and wedges, 10 traverses, and five bags of eight dovetails to facilitate attachment to an existing Basics Plus starter shelving unit. This hardware enables operators to configure the add-on unit in U, L, or T shapes so it can be positioned in crowded storage spaces. For versatility, its polypropylene construction endures temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, meaning it can be stored in walk-in coolers and freezers, dry pantries, and steamy dishrooms. Because its composite posts are capped with leveling feet, the unit stays balanced on irregular flooring, preventing wobbling.
