The 12-inch-long blade’s serrated edge glides smoothly through tough meats, while its DEXSTEEL™—high-carbon, high-alloy stainless steel— construction won’t corrode or stain throughout use. To prevent cross contamination, the handle is color-coded white, and the polypropylene handle construction is textured to prevent slipping with use.

Well worth the price
All in all it seems like a great knife. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was it really needs a sheath of some kind. It looks difficult to store without that protection.

I haven't smoked a brisket yet, but some enormous pork roasts, using it to butterfly the meat and slice when done! My former brisket knife was adequate, but this holds the edge much better!!
