Nemco 6310-1 Description
The Nemco 6310-1 electric hot plate is ideal for pan frying, sautéing, and simmering foods in front-of-house applications, and it should not be used with saucepots that hold over 4 quarts. Its 8-inch-diameter cast iron burner supports cookware while quickly heating up and evenly distributing heat. To prevent damage to the components, the heating element has overheating protection, and adjustable feet elevate the unit off the countertop.
Operators can adjust the temperature on the six-position controller, and it can be set low enough for simmering or high enough for boiling. Made of stainless steel, the Nemco 6310-1 hot plate is strong and rust resistant, and because the material is brushed, it resists fingerprints to maintain a professional look.
