Its 95-inch-wide by 30¹⁄₂-inch-wide top section can accommodate coffee urns, cups, breakfast foods, sandwiches, desserts, or snacks, and its medium-density fiberboard construction is finished with a water- and stain-resistant black laminate that maintain a clean, professional appearance through high-volume use. It's built with two drop leaves integrated on the sides that are stabilized in place with swing-out supports, which can be folded down when not in use to save storage space and ease transport. A stainless steel rail encases three sides of the surface to keep displayed items in place.

The Lakeside 6855 BEGSU breakout dining station's cabinet base sports a beige-suede laminate finish to dynamically contrast the top color while complementing established decorative themes. For a built-in appearance, a recessed stainless steel panel encases three sides of the base, concealing the unit's casters. To maximize the display space, a convenient plate storage compartment is built into the guest-facing side; three interior compartments are integrated on the operator-facing side.
