Cleveland SEL30T1 Description
The Cleveland SEL30T1 PowerPan™ braising pan has a 30-gallon capacity and supports large-quantity cooking in schools, hospitals, and high-volume restaurants. Because of the gallon and liter markings in the pan, users can add ingredients consistently across batches, while its bead-blasted, 5⁄8-inch-thick cooking surface is resistant to warping and food sticking. Made of stainless steel, the cooking plate evenly warms up and distributes heat. Operators can set and adjust the temperature from 100 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
Equipped with a hand crank and strainer, the Cleveland SEL30T1 tilting braising pan can be slanted to separate cooked food from liquid broth. Because it is not electric, the manual mechanism is less likely to fail than a power switch, but it is less precise and harder to operate. When tilted to 10 degrees, users can cook while grease runs off the product, but this unit does not operate when it is tilted further to reduce the risk of injury. Its cover is convenient to open and close with a spring-assisted design and handle that covers the full width.
