Designed for high-volume braising, pan frying, and stir frying, the Cleveland SEL30T1 PowerPan™ tilt skillet can be used with almost any cooking technique. Its 30-gallon capacity supports large quantities, while gallon and liter measurement markings show how much product is in the pan. Because of its ⁵⁄₈-inch thickness and bead-blasted finish, the cooking surface resists warping and prevents food from clinging. To provide even heat distribution, the plate is made of stainless steel—a material that streamlines the cleaning process. Operators can set the temperature at a level between 100 and 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

This Cleveland SEL30T1 braising pan has a manual tilt hand crank, which is a mechanism that angles the pan as the operator twists it. A manual mechanism is more reliable than power options because it is not electric, but it may be less precise and more difficult to operate. When the unit is tilted, the heat does not operate, but if inclined at 10 degrees, the heat will stay on for cooking with a grease runoff. As the operator tilts the pan to empty the cooked food, it flows through the strainer, separating solids from liquids. Because the cover is spring assisted and has a full-width handle, it opens and closes smoothly, while a vent is integrated into the top to release steam.
