Berkel B10-SLC Description
The Berkel B10-SLC gravity-feed slicer uses a 1⁄4-horsepower motor and 10-inch-diameter chromium-plated carbon steel knife that spins at 290 RPM to cut through thick meats and cheeses. Its carriage has a cutting capacity of 8 1⁄4 inches wide by 6 7⁄8 inches in diameter or 6 7⁄8 inches high. With the precision system, operators can manipulate slice thickness from a paper-thin width to 9⁄16 of an inch. The top-mounted, two-stone knife sharpener can maintain a sharp knife edge for consistent cuts.
The Berkel B10-SLC slicer's product table is angled at 30 degrees, requiring less pressure from mechanical components compared to a straight product table. An anodized aluminum pusher is included so operators can hold product in place, and this pusher can be removed and washed after use. Moisture resistant and reliable, the power switch simplifies turning the unit on and off, while the power light indicator glows when the unit is in use. This slicer is made of durable, corrosion-resistant stainless steel and anodized aluminum, and all components can be disassembled without tools to streamline cleaning. With its 16-inch by 20-inch-depth by 13-inch-height, it has a compact footprint for countertop installation.
