The San Jamar SCDG33BK square digital scale has a 33-pound capacity and measures product in increments of 0.01 ounce or 1 gram. A hold feature keeps the measurement on display after the item is removed from the platform. With the parts counting feature, the scale counts a large number of small items by weighing a sample set to find the average weight. I paid nearly $100 for a good scale but got a piece of junk!
The scale I received doesn't even totally match the one advertised. What's more, when I gave it a simple accuracy test by placing a small weight at 5 locations around the stage, I got 5 different readings! I reported this issue to KaTom's CS over a week ago requesting a refund. I still don't have an RMA. Guess my next step is to enter a dispute with my CC issuer.
