For operation, the T&S 012443-40NS Eterna compression cartridge operates with a quarter turn, while a spring check prevents hot and cold water from flowing together. While it can operate between 40 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit, this unit is designed for use with hot water. To withstand high-volume use, this unit is made of chrome-plated brass. When operated at 60 PSI, it can dispense 11 1⁄4 gallons of water per minute.
