The T&S 001498-25 spout works as an OEM replacement piece for a double-joint swing nozzle faucet. When the spout inside a faucet begins to wear, waterflow can become erratic or reduced. Changing the spout piece enables users to restore full functionality to existing faucets without the expense of replacing the whole faucet.
This T&S 001498-25 spout is made of high-tensile-strength brass, which is a good choice for fittings that must be watertight. The malleability of brass means it resists stress cracking better than zinc or steel. Chrome plating is added to this spout to enhance wear resistance and prevent thread galling. The 3⁄4-inch male threads are unified standard (UN).
