Star PST14E Description
The Star PST14E Pro-Max 2.0® panini press has smooth aluminum plates that are lighter than cast iron and stainless steel alternatives to support increased heating times. They do not leave grill marks in the food like grooved plates, but they can be cleaned more quickly. A 3-inch opening between the plates accommodates thick products, and when the top plate is lifted and lowered repeatedly, the heavy-duty hinge system will not break.
This Star PST14E sandwich grill operates at temperatures between 175 and 550 degrees Fahrenheit. Featuring a timer to help users keep up with toasting time, this unit has electronic controls that enable staff to set and monitor the temperature. Electrical components are protected from water and oil damage by a conduit, and the stainless steel construction provides durability for high-volume operations.
