Star 872MA Description
The Star 872MA Ultra-Max® griddle is elevated with 4-inch, adjustable legs that provide stability and prevent the countertop from getting too hot. To cook different foods at the same time, burners are spaced every 12 inches while evenly heating the cooking plate. The temperature can be manually set and adjusted between 150 and 550 degrees Fahrenheit.
Constructed of polished steel, the plate measures 1 inch thick and resists warping as it heats and cools repeatedly. This thick plate evenly retains and distributes heat better than thinner plates. Splash guards catch crumbs and grease splatter to facilitate cleanup around the Star 872MA griddle. Operators can push grease into the trough, where it flows into the grease drawer to streamline cleaning.
