Star 8148RCBB Description
Constructed of stainless steel with a welded steel frame, the Star 8148RCBB Ultra-Max® gas charbroiler is built for long-term use in demanding kitchens. Cast iron grates span the 48-inch cooking surface and can be adjusted flat or inclined to match specific product needs. Beneath the grates, steel radiants spread heat evenly from eight manual burners, each controlled independently across 6-inch sections. A 5-in. splash guard surrounds the rear and sides to help contain grease and protect adjacent surfaces.
A full-width drip pan beneath the grates collects grease and debris during cooking, while a front-mounted trough supports active runoff management. The front control panel is recessed to shield the heavy-duty knobs from heat, and a stainless steel bullnose adds a protective edge along the front of the unit. Four stainless steel legs provide support and include 1 3⁄8-inch adjustment to level the unit on uneven surfaces.
