Star 808HA Description
Equipped with eight cast iron burners, the Star 808HA Ultra-Max® gas hotplate provides a solution for heavy cooking demands in commercial kitchens. Each 2-piece burner is independently controlled and outputs 26,000 BTU on liquid propane gas, offering flexibility across the 48-inch-wide cooktop for multitasking with multiple pots and pans. Integrated standing pilots support immediate ignition, minimizing downtime between cooking tasks. The chrome-plated, quarter-turn control knobs resist wear while offering precise flame adjustment. The cool-to-the-touch bullnose design shields the control area from radiant heat and adds a layer of safety during busy service periods.
The Star 808HA Ultra-Max hotplate is manufactured of corrosion-resistant stainless steel to withstand harsh cooking environments and regular cleaning. A heavy-duty aluminized steel drip tray spans the unit’s width beneath the burners to collect food particles and grease, streamlining maintenance. Each burner features a cast iron grate with a non-tilt design, keeping cookware securely positioned and promoting stable heat transfer. Lift-off burner heads simplify cleaning and service access. For installation flexibility, the unit sits on 4-inch legs that adjust by 1 3⁄8 inches and includes a 3⁄4-inch NPT gas inlet for secure connection.
