Star 806HA Description
The Star 806HA Ultra-Max® gas hotplate (MPN: 806HA) is manufactured of corrosion-resistant stainless steel to handle the demands of commercial kitchens. Designed for countertop use, this 36-inch-wide model includes six heavy-duty burners with a total output of 156,000 BTU on liquid propane gas. Each 2-piece burner includes a standing pilot for instant lighting and outputs 26,000 BTU, giving operators control over heat intensity across the surface. A non-tilt cast iron grate rests above each burner to maintain pan stability during cooking, and lift-off heads simplify access for cleaning and maintenance.
Equipped with manual controls, the Star 806HA Ultra-Max hotplate includes chrome-plated knobs with quarter-turn operation to make flame adjustment precise and consistent. A cool-touch bullnose panel lines the front of the unit, shielding controls from heat while offering a more comfortable reach for staff. The aluminized steel crumb tray beneath the burners collects grease and debris to help streamline cleanup, and the unit sits on 4-inch adjustable legs that can be extended by 1 3⁄8 inches.
