Star 8048CBB Description
Constructed with a welded steel frame and finished in rust-resistant stainless steel, the Star 8048CBB Ultra-Max® gas charbroiler is designed for durability in high-demand kitchens. Eight burners beneath the surface each generate 20,000 BTU and are spaced every 6 inches to deliver focused, adjustable heat. Cast iron grates sit above a layer of lava rocks, which absorb and radiate heat from the liquid propane flame to help maintain surface temperature and add smoky aroma as drippings vaporize.
the Star 8048CBB Ultra-Max gas charbroiler includes independently adjustable grates that can be positioned flat or inclined to suit different product types. A 5-in. wraparound splash guard helps keep grease away from nearby equipment, while a front trough and full-width drip pan manage runoff efficiently. The recessed front panel protects heavy-duty metal control knobs from excess heat, and a stainless steel bullnose adds a safe, angled edge. Four 4-in. legs with 1 3⁄8-inch adjustment keep the unit stable on uneven prep tables.
