Star 524TGF Description
The Star 524TGF Star-Max® electric griddle has heating elements spaced every 12 inches to ensure heat is evenly distributed across the griddle plate. An embedded snap-action thermostat adjusts the temperature from 150 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. To withstand heating up and cooling down repeatedly, the plate is 1 inch thick and has superior heat distribution and retention.
Splash guards catch grease splatter, keeping walls and countertops around the griddle clean. Operators can direct grease from the plate into the 31/2-inch-wide trough. Since the trough is wide enough to accommodate a spatula, users can push grease into the 41/2-quart grease drawer. Separating the operator from heat, the stainless steel bullnose front on this Star 524TGF electric griddle also protects the knobs from damage.
