Star 5136CF Description
Ideal for cooking multiple products simultaneously, this Star 5136CF Star-Max® electric charbroiler is separated into three 12-inch cooking sections with correlating temperature adjustment knobs. Six incoloy™ sheath-type heating elements can cook meat and vegetables quickly to accommodate high-traffic restaurants. To achieve uniform cooking results, heat radiates directly from the elements and is conducted through the cast iron grates for even heat distribution. Water can be added to the 9-quart stainless steel water pan to mix with grease that runs off cooked product, simplifying cleanup. The grates can be removed for cleaning, while the heating element assembly can be locked in an upright position, so operators can wipe it clean safely.
This Star 5136CF heavy-duty charbroiler measures 36 inches wide by 253/5 inches deep by 141/4 inches high for countertop applications. For flexible placement, this unit is electric, so it doesn't require a fuel line, unlike gas charbroilers. A 23/4-inch-tall stainless steel splash guard protects nearby surfaces from grease splatter during charbroiling, while its stainless steel bull-nose front protects the metal knobs from accidental adjustment in case an employee bumps into the knobs. This surface also remains cool to the touch to reduce the risk of injury. To withstand humid kitchen environments and repeated use, the unit's top and front are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, which can be wiped clean with ease.
