Great for fountain drinks or blended cocktails, nugget ice is also immensely popular among customers for chewing. To account for this high demand, this unit includes a bin that can hold 370 pounds of ice at a time. This unit comes standard with the AP1-P water filter.

The Scotsman NS0422AX-1/B322S/AP1-P Prodigy Plus® ice machine and bin combo is designed for simplified cleaning and reduced maintenance. For longevity, the ice maker features sealed bearings, a stainless steel evaporator, and a stainless steel auger. Because its refrigeration system is also sealed, it minimizes contact with airborne contaminants; between cleanings, its antimicrobial protection guards internal surfaces. If it's underperforming, operators can simply scan the unit-specific QR code to access service manuals, cleaning guides, and warranty history. Its AutoAlert™ system provides illumination and notifies operators when descaling or sanitization is needed.

For installation flexibility, the ice maker is front breathing so it doesn't require side clearances, while the bin features a recessed drain. To simplify ice retrieval, the bin includes a scoop and an integrated scoop holder, and its spring-loaded door smoothly opens and closes. The bin's polyethylene interior lining resists scratches and scuffs from the scoop, while its metallic exterior resists corrosion. Ice can be held for extended periods because this bin utilizes polyurethane foam insulation, which is forced between the exterior and liner under heat and pressure to form a wall-to-wall bond.
