Durable enough for everyday use, the Scotsman HID312AB-1 ice and water dispenser's auger, evaporator, and exterior panels are made of stainless steel—a rust- and corrosion-resistant metal that can be wiped clean as needed. At the push of a button, it dispenses water and chewable, absorbent ³/₄-inch by ⁵/₁₆-inch by ³/₈-inch nugget ice; this ice is gathered and stored in its 12-pound storage bin. Its buttons and other key components are treated with AgION™ antimicrobial agent to inhibit bacterial, mildew, and fungal growth. To optimize sanitation, its bin, air filter, spouts, sink, and grill can be removed to enable a more thorough cleaning.

In ideal conditions, the Scotsman HID312AB-1 ice dispenser produces a maximum of 260 pounds of ice a day—suitable for low-volume operations. It features a SmoothStream™ dispensing system to maintain a clean working area and reduce splashes during water dispensing. To minimize the risk of contamination, its refrigeration system is sealed. This unit is air cooled and operates with R-134a refrigerant. To simplify operation, its unit-specific QR code retrieves service manuals, and its LED diagnostic lights communicate maintenance needs.
