This Scotsman FS1222AX-32/B842S/KBT39/AP2-P Prodigy Plus® ice maker with B842S storage bin produces flake ice, an ice type often used to chill seafood in a grocery store, blend drinks in a smoothie bar, or preserve chilled product served in buffets. The ice machine head can produce 1,056 pounds of flake ice each day if ideal conditions are met, and the bin can store 778 pounds of flake ice once it's prepared. Due to this large volume of production and storage, this machine is good for heavily trafficked locations that serve many customers daily. To streamline setup and prevent cold air loss, a KBT39 bin top is included.

Its front-facing door is top hinged and the baffle is removable without tools for fast access. This unit comes standard with the AP2-P water filter.
