Producing as much as 1,100 pounds of flake ice per day in optimal conditions, the Scotsman FS1222A-32 ice machine head is suitable for keeping large seafood and produce displays chilled and for producing high volumes of blended smoothies or slushies. It comes with a Scotsman B530S ice storage bin that's insulated with polyurethane to reduce melting and can hold as much as 536 pounds of prepared ice. For streamlined operation, the bin has a drain built into the bottom, enabling users to drain away water from melting ice quickly, preserving product quality. Opening from the front, the bin's door is top hinged, and it rests on 6-inch legs for ease of access.

The Scotsman FS1222A-32/B530S/KBT27 ice machine head and storage bin combo feature a stainless steel auger and evaporator as well as sealed bearings, ensuring an extended lifespan. The ice maker operates with AutoAlert™ indicator lights to streamline maintenance and has a unit-specific QR code to assist with troubleshooting. Enabling the unit to fit into tight spaces, the head's refrigeration system is front breathing, the air filter is front accessible, and the bin measures 30 inches wide.
