Operating with an air-cooled system, the Scotsman FS0522AX-1/B530S/KBT27 flake ice maker can produce 450 pounds of ice per day in ideal surroundings. The included Scotsman B530S ice bin collects the ice, storing as much as 536 pounds at a time. To minimize air leakage when installing this 22-inch-wide ice maker on top of the 30-inch-wide bin, this kit comes with a matching bin top. Useful for enhancing product displays, filling chilled buffets, and making ice packs, the flake ice produced by this machine is delicate and moldable. It isn't well suited to chilling beverages such as tea or soda.
To withstand high-volume use and provide support for the FS0522AX-1/B530S/KBT27 head, the Scotsman B530S ice bin has a metallic finish exterior and polyurethane foam insulation that reinforces the unit's structure while preserving ice integrity. It features a scratch-resistant polyethylene liner and stand on 6-inch legs, raising the bin to a more comfortable height for scooping. To facilitate water runoff, the bin has an integrated drain. Matching the bin's appearance, the ice machine head has a durable stainless steel exterior and resists rust and scrapes.
