Using R404A refrigerant, the self-contained condenser in the Scotsman MC1448SA-3 Prodigy ELITE® ice machine head is air cooled to make as much as 1,553 pounds of ice per day in ideal environments. If the temperature in the room rises, the unit will make closer to 1,296 pounds of ice daily. When attached to a bin or dispenser, harvest assist will guide the ice through the machine for retrieval when needed. WaterSense purge controls ensure ice stays fresh and clean, and one-touch cleaning reduces the amount of maintenance needed.

The Scotsman MC1448SA-3 half-cube ice machine head's air filter is removable to clean and replace. It has a stainless steel finish that resists corrosion, denting, and warping, and it's coated with AgION™ antimicrobial to slow the growth of germs and bacteria. To view important information about the unit, users can scan its specific QR code with their phone. The key components of operation are located in the front for convenience.

Note: This unit must be paired with an ice maker bin or ice dispenser.
