Under ideal conditions, the Scotsman MC0322MAX-1/B330P/KBT27/AP1-P Prodigy ELITE® ice maker and bin can make 362 pounds of ice in a day, and to create ice, the unit runs water over the evaporator plate. The condenser uses R290 refrigerant to remove heat and as water freezes, it turns into medium-sized cubes. Finally, the plate heats up just enough to loosen the ice, and a Harvest Assist probe pushes ice out of the plate and into the bin.
To deter mold, the ice machine head's internal components have built-in antimicrobial protection, while the WaterSense controls adjust the water levels for reduced limescale buildup. LED indicator lights show the ice machine's operating conditions and help users determine problems, while for repairs, ice maker parts can be accessed through the front panel. Operators can use the ICELINQ® mobile app to connect to the machine’s dashboard, access harvest and purge controls, and use the interactive cleaning guide.
To save space, this Scotsman MC0322MAX-1/B330P/KBT27/AP1-P ice machine and bin breathes through the front, reducing clearance requirements on the sides. Keeping the scoop out of the ice, the bin has a scoop holder, and for thorough cleaning, the bin features a removable baffle and polyethylene liner, and the ice machine head has a cleaning cycle. This unit comes with the AP1-P water filter.
