Half-micron filtration is used to help extend the life of the machine and prevent service calls connected to filtration. Your ice machine stays cleaner longer since some chlorine is left in the water. Scale buildup is reduced with the help of a polyphosphate feed. An antimicrobial agent helps prevent algae, bacteria, and mold from growing as rapidly in the ice machine. The Scotsman APRC1-P replacement cartridge comes in a package of one.
