This Hatco DL-400-RL decorative heat lamp is supported by a retractable, ceiling-mounted cord that can extend to a maximum overall length of 69 1⁄2 inches to closely heat small portions of food. The lamp shade’s 6 1⁄8-inch diameter covers a small surface area, so it works best for heating a few plates at a time. This lamp requires a lightbulb with a maximum wattage of 250 that is not included.
Users can toggle the Hatco DL-400-RL heat lamp’s on and off button, which is located directly above the shade for accessibility. The shade come in black—a neutral color that matches common restaurant themes—and features a circular shape that helps contain light in a single section to maximize heating in a specific area. To streamline cleanup, it’s finished with an easy-to-clean gloss.
