The Hamilton Beach HVC406 PrimaVac™ in-chamber vacuum sealer removes air from bags to keep food fresh and maintain its flavor and color. Product can be stored, preserved, marinated, and used for sous vide with this unit. Its stainless steel housing withstands daily use, and a clear lid enables users to see food as air is removed. Its heat seal bar is 16 inches long and protected from damage with a silicone pad. A filler plate sits in the sealer for small product and can be removed to accommodate large product. Air is removed by a JetAire™ pump that includes an oil change reminder and a built-in oil preheat function.

The control panel on this Hamilton Beach HVC406 vacuum packaging machine is smooth and simple to wipe clean. LED lights turn on to show users what process is being used. A vacuum gauge displays how much air is left in the chamber, and 10 programs can be used to automatically remove air. Function and pump adjustments enable the user to adjust sealing and vacuum times, soft-air time, and heat-bar cooling time. Soft air can be altered to slow the compression of delicate product.
