Excellent knife
I used to work as an overnight baker for a national sandwich shop/ bakery. I had two of these, one I carried as a pocket knife, and one that I used while scoring dough and doing about a million other tasks at work. It's perfect.
Perfect for the task
I used to work for a National chain snack company on the packaging line. Whenever we had a bag of snacks that didn't seal properly we were required to reopen the package without touching the product and dump it back into the reservoir vat to be repacked. The blade of this knife with its razor sharp blade allowed us to slit the bag and turn it over without any contaminants touching the contents.

this knife does a very nice job cutting bread before baking it. I like the way it fits in my hand also it is very easy to use.

I was surprised to find that the handle is made of something other than plastic as the price is so good it was nice to see a metal handle for the price.
