Designed to increase cold storage in prep areas without taking up workspace, the Delfield GUR48P-S Coolscapes® undercounter refrigerator conveniently fits under existing counters. It has a 48-inch width that's split into two sections, each of which has a gray epoxy-coated shelf. Field reversible, the doors on this unit are solid, and they open to a 180-degree angle with a self-closing design at less than 90 degrees. Past that same angle, the doors stay open for stocking and cleaning, while the built-in handles take up little space in the aisle.

Because it has a front breathing design, this Delfield GUR48P-S undercounter refrigerator can be installed without side and top clearances. So the operator can adjust the temperature between 33 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit, its refrigeration system is rear mounted and has electronic controls. Minimizing compressor cycling to lengthen its lifespan and save energy, these controls help reduce pull-down times. This unit uses eco-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, which is metered in the system by a thermostatic expansion valve.
