InSinkErator SS-1000 Description
Powered by a 10-horsepower induction motor that operates at 1,725 RPM, the InSinkErator SS-1000 basic disposer is equipped for demanding waste processing applications. The motor is enclosed in a moisture-resistant housing with built-in airflow cooling and thermal overload protection to support long-term reliability. A triple-lip seal and secondary spring-loaded oil seal help prevent grease loss and water intrusion, while Timken roller bearings cushion the internal mechanism against operational shock. The unit includes a 3⁄4-inch rubber mounting gasket and adjustable support legs to streamline installation. Cast nickel chrome alloy shredding components are mounted inside a corrosion-resistant stainless steel grind chamber and engineered for reverse-action performance.
