Blodgett BX-14E Description
The Blodgett BX-14EDBL double full-size combi oven has a manual control system with a thermostat that adjusts as high as 500 degrees Fahrenheit. A multiple speed, reversing fan control ensures heated air is evenly circulated throughout the compartments. The controls have modes for hot air, humidity, and cool down with an additional function for steam on demand. With a core probe cook and hold function, a 4-inch temperature probe is used to ensure the temperatures are accurate. When there is too much steam in the compartments, the cavity vent control lets the user release steam at the flip of a switch.
Each compartment includes five stainless steel racks but can accommodate seven full-size sheet pans or 14 full-size hotel pans. Halogen lights brighten the cavities so staff can view the cooking product, and glass windows in the doors create visibility from the exterior. Even though the windows are double paned, they are easy to clean since the inner pane is hinged. This Blodgett BX-14EDBL double full-size combi oven is fully insulated, so heat stays inside.
