Advance Tabco FE-1-1824 Description
The Advance Tabco FE-1-1824-X one-compartment sink has an 18-inch by 24-inch bowl measuring 14 inches deep. Corners in the bowl are coved, so they don't trap debris from soiled dishes. Instead, debris is caught in the basket waste drain to prevent clogging in the pipes, and due to the sink's 9-inch backsplash, water and soap are confined to the unit. A tile edge enables its flush installation against a wall, and adjustable bullet feet maintain stability when floors are uneven.
Constructed of 18-gauge stainless steel, the Advance Tabco FE-1-1824-X sink is durable and can be cleaned quickly. This gauge is thinner than 14- and 16-gauge metals, so it's likelier to bend or dent in time; the steel is 304 series, which is 18 percent chromium and 8 percent nickel. Because nickel is highly rust resistant, this sink isn't damaged by acidic or salty foods. Through an arc-welding process called TIG welding, the seams of the sink are fused together with heat created by tungsten electrodes. All welded areas are blended to a satin finish that matches the adjacent surfaces.
