This is my second purchase of this trash can--I may buy more
"I love using contractors bags for my daily trash and this Commercial Trash Can works great for using them. It has been in my kitchen for about 7 years now. Looks like new because I wash it once a month (inside and outside) and spray it with Clorox Cleaner about every-other day, as it fills and upon bag changings. I wash the outside of the lid everynight. It does not really retain odors because I don't put "wet" garbage directly into the can. I use the garbage disposal for that--with the exception of onion skins and potatoe peelings that are put in gallon baggies. If my hubby skips this step, or my grandkids clean their plates into the can, they do stink within 2 days; however, that Clorox Cleaner Spraying keeps the bacteria and smell down. I am giving my old gray can to my daughter and keeping the new black one for me. The top metal has very little rust build up on the metal joints of the top. Just normal wear, but not much at all really. I would highly recommend this product and guarantee that you will be greatly satisfied!"
