This is my second purchase of this trash can--I may buy more
I love using contractors bags for my daily trash and this Commercial Trash Can works great for using them. It has been in my kitchen for about 7 years now. Looks like new because I wash it once a month (inside and outside) and spray it with Clorox Cleaner about every-other day, as it fills and upon bag changings. I wash the outside of the lid everynight. It does not really retain odors because I don't put "wet" garbage directly into the can. I use the garbage disposal for that--with the exception of onion skins and potatoe peelings that are put in gallon baggies. If my hubby skips this step, or my grandkids clean their plates into the can, they do stink within 2 days; however, that Clorox Cleaner Spraying keeps the bacteria and smell down. I am giving my old gray can to my daughter and keeping the new black one for me. The top metal has very little rust build up on the metal joints of the top. Just normal wear, but not much at all really. I would highly recommend this product and guarantee that you will be greatly satisfied!

I used the shelf on 1 of my 12 housekeeping carts. with a little modification on my end, it works great. Cost to me plus shipping came to 61.15. of that shipping was 20.00 for one. I'm writing to ask if i could get a break on the shipping that would allow me to complete all 12 carts. Because its wintertime our occupancy is always down till spring. I'm looking at trying to buy 3 per month and 4 on the 4th month. If you can give me a break on shipping, would you send me my cost on requested quotes above. Thank you for your time with my request. Incorrect description, but an awesome trash can.
My company has five of these trash cans located throughout the building, in restrooms and break rooms. They're not actually 4 gallons - they're actually 24 gallons. The finish on these is great - even with the heavy use, they stay looking wonderful and are easy to wipe down. We've had them in use for over a year, and they still look brand new. The step mechanism still works smoothly, and the cans close slowly to prevent slamming. I'm writing this review while buying another.

Cheap plastic wheel arrived broken
For what they cost, one would think they could at least arrive whole. There was no padding between the plastic wheels and they arrived with pieces of the plastic hub broken, chipped, and in the bottom of the box. They are cheap plastic junk, I would doubt they would hold up with any weight in a kart and I have returned them for a refund.
The tire is awesome.
My only problem is I ordered two, got one and have not received the other one

Not just for restaurants.
I'm using mine for tool and parts transport. I do work at hotels and hospitals that new technology requires me to have many more support tools and parts that can't fit on a dolly anymore. This cart is so easy to store in my van. Pops up in a snap and carries a lot of stuff and rolls with no effort. A great investment and best priced here.

I was pleasantly surprised that the edge of the dustpan has a thin, beveled edge. When I'm sweeping fine dust into the dustpan it manages to get all of it the first sweep! Yay!

Not quite what I expected
The handle does not have a swivel on the bottom so this does not allow for a smooth action on the floor. If you use it in a straight push pull motion this is not a problem, but it will not sweep side to side and stay flat on the floor.
