The 8-gallon capacity of this Rubbermaid 1883600 Slim Jim® utility can is sized ideally for low-volume waste collection. It measures 16 7⁄10 inches wide by 10.6 inches deep, so the footprint is small enough for tight spaces. The lid on this trash container can be opened and closed with a foot pedal, reducing touch points. Its pedal is located on the front and withstands opening and closing over 300,000 cycles. After the pedal is released, the lid closes quietly with controlled motion. Because the bin is made of gray resin, it blends into existing design schemes. It can be used indoors and has a fire-safe, self-extinguishing design.
