Dean SR162G Description

Featuring the largest frypot in the Super Runner series, the Dean SR162G 75-pound fryer offers high output for a wide variety of foods at an economical price. This unit is designed for convenience, with its millivolt controls generating the necessary power from a standing pilot, meaning the unit does not require an electrical connection. Operation is reliable due to a durable oil temperature probe that responds quickly to deviations from the set cooking level, ensuring food cooks as it should. The five cast iron burners are completely submersed in the oil, which means they provide maximum heat transfer. To reduce the amount of gas needed, the Thermo-Tube design increases the burner surface area and uses interior baffles to optimize heating efficiency.

Because this Dean SR162G gas fryer has a maximum output of 150,000 BTUs, its 18-inch by 18-inch frypot can cook high volumes of product. The vat can hold a full basket or the included twin baskets. A basket hanger enables users to drain excess oil off food before emptying it into a dump station or serving it, and a basket support rack keeps food elevated off the burners. The stainless steel frypot, front, door, and backsplash support quick cleanup and can withstand frequent high-volume use.

Good Fryers but 2 out of the 3 I purchased had problems

Good Fryers but 2 out of the 3 I purchased had problems with the basket holders on their tops coming un-welded where the bolt holding them was just spot welded and broke loose under the weight of a full basket.
