Metro Q536EG3 Description
A good choice for high-volume storage applications, the Metro Q536EG3 MetroMax® Q shelf kit’s four levels have a total weight capacity of 900 pounds. Its posts and shelves are made of a polymer—a sturdy construction that supports heavy use and streamlines cleaning. Each shelf mat is removable to further streamline cleaning, and to defend against corrosion, their steel frames are epoxy coated. Featuring an open-grid design, the shelves promote airflow around stored product to prevent dust accumulation.
Because it’s safe for exposure to temperatures between -20 and 125 degrees Fahrenheit, the Metro Q536EG3 MetroMax Q shelving unit can be used in hot kitchens as well as walk-in freezers or coolers. If it needs to be relocated, operators can wheel it away on its four 5-inch swivel casters, and to inhibit the growth of microbes, such as bacteria and mold, it’s treated with Microban® protection. A four-tier unit, it measures 36 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 675/16 inches high.
