This Metro C5T9-DSL C5™ T-Series heavy-duty mobile heated cabinet is made of durable, corrosion-resistant stainless steel to withstand high-volume, long-term use. Because this unit can be moved, it's built with Transport Armour™ protective features, which shield the exterior from colliding with walls, furniture, or other pieces of equipment that could create dents, scratches, and scuffs. Its polymer handles are steel reinforced and act as bumpers to reduce impact, while its polymer side panels protect the unit from door handles and panic bars. To streamline access to the cavity, it features a reach-in layout and a solid, welded, 20-gauge stainless steel door. For quick identification, the door is equipped with a three-function information panel, which includes a clipboard, whiteboard, and cabinet ID. Overall, this unit measures 30 inches wide by 39¹/₄ inches deep by 73⁷/₈ inches high and is mounted on 6-inch casters.

To ensure precooked foods are stored in a safe environment, the Metro C5T9-DSL heated cabinet's ducted convection heating system produces and maintains temperatures as high as 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Operators can adjust cavity temperatures with the solid-state digital controller, while the mobile power option provides a battery-powered source so the control panel is operable when the unit is unplugged or in transit. Other digital controls include a digital display, recall and memory button, low- and high-temperature alarms, and diagnostic troubleshooting. Designed to accommodate large-volume warming applications, the adjustable lip-load slides can hold 32 steam pans or 16 sheet pans.
